More Pink Ribbon

I had to share a picture of my favorite coffee mug.  Especially since it is a Pink Ribbon mug.  It is an Arthur Court design for Neiman Marcus and the proceeds went to support Breast Cancer Awareness.  I think my coffee tastes better from my favorite mugs.  That's just me.  Anyway, with this being October, I thought I would feature my pink ribbon coffee cup.

I feel like I haven't done any quilting in a while.  I've been side tracked by other projects which have been fun, but it's not the same.  Tomorrow I am taking a Silk Ribbon Embroidery class, so today I'd like to get back to work on my batik quilt.  All the strips have been cut, and I believe I am about 50% done with the strip piecing.

Here are some laid out and ready to sew into pairs.  I hope y'all have a productive day today.

  1. That's a lovely mug, I have the same philosophy, coffee tastes better out of a mug that is special to us.

Silk Ribbon Embroidery? I've never heard of that, I hope your class went well and you can blog about what you made. It just sounds decadent! Does it go on quilts?

Those batiks appeal to me, I'm eager to see what you accomplished with them.
