It's been a while since I've been able to say that!
My sewing machine has been cranking out the stars. I really am having fun with these stars, and if other quilts weren't calling my name, I'd keep on making them. All the stars have been made for my son's quilt, and I played with various layouts. We'll see if I can get the top pieced by tomorrow.
In between piecing star blocks, I managed to finish a few more shoo fly blocks....five down, only sixty-five more or so to go...
What did you do this weekend?
I had a productive weekend too! We had a long weekend here in Sydney so on Monday i said I was doing something for me! i am trying to get a UFO done. I had lots of smallish blocks left to do. I have made very good progress. I am a happy little camper.
ReplyDeleteFinished a quilt for a wedding present, went to the Botanical Garden and Zoo and baked cookies.
ReplyDeleteI love the colors in your shoo fly blocks. Gorgeous. And the stars will really make up a beautiful quilt top. I'll be curious to see it all come together. I like the fact that they are different sizes.
