Do you Twitter?

I am an on again off again Twitter user.  Same goes for Facebook.  When I'm out and about (but not driving!) or waiting in the school pickup line is usually the time I'll pull out my phone and check Twitter or Facebook...i.e. when I'm bored ;-)

However, tonight I'm going to log into my Twitter account (if it's still active) and chat with like minded quilters during Talkin' Tuesday.  Cara is hosting tonight and has info on this blog post.   Have any of you participated in Talkin' Tuesday?  Are you on Twitter?  If so, do you keep you tweets private or can anyone see them?  I go back and forth on this.  For now, I have my privacy settings turned off so I can participate in the chat tonight.  Not really sure if that is necessary or not, but I didn't want to just chat with myself ;-)  You can find me here on Twitter.  Any feedback, suggestions or do's and don'ts regarding Twitter is greatly appreciated!

Last week, our guild handed out goody bags filled with strips of fabric leftover from Beth's veterans sewing group.  The Orlando Modern Quilt Guild is collecting string blocks to make a veterans charity quilt.

Yesterday, I found time to sew a few strips together.  It's not much, but at least I found a few minutes to sew.  Hoping to get motivated tonight while chatting and sewing.

Have an amazing day!!!

  1. YAY for joining us! You do have to have the privacy settings turned off for the chat so we can all see you. I have mine off all the time. I don't tweet anything that I'm worried about some random person seeing, same as I blog. And you can block people if you get any problems with spammers, which I have to say I think I've used twice.
    Chat with you tonight!

  2. I have not been on Twitter yet; I find that blogging takes up most of my computer time. I do however have a Facebook account but log in only when I receive messages. Is twittering fun?
