Sew & Tell Friday #21

Happy Friday!  I finally have my Sew and Tell post ready to publish.

It's been another week of more time spent quilt planning rather than quilt sewing.

I finally finished Week 3's blocks for the Pinwheel Sampler Quilt Along which is my Sew & Tell Friday finish.  The pictures are blurry because of my failing eyesight the low light in my studio.

The colors are also a little off.  The green inside this block really isn't so lime.

My stitching may be a little fuzzy, but the fabric shouldn't be.  So much rain here.

Be sure to take a look at all the Sew and Tell Friday projects on Amy's blog.

I scored quite a bit of batiks during the Shop Hop and hope to work some this weekend on my Peace quilt.  Maybe I'll have pictures (that aren't blurry) to share by then.

Have an amazing weekend!!!!

  1. Wow those blocks are amazing! I sometimes find myself planning projects for longer than it takes me to do the projects, funny isn't it? Great job can't wait to see the finished quilt

  2. I love your fabric combinations, Rene; blurry pictures or not. I too have done little stitching this week; more planning and decisions for projects-to-be, and wrapping up loose ends on old ones. How is the house selling business going?

  8. I like the blocks, nice job! I'm always amazed you have time to sew at all, I'm worn out just reading about your schedule.

I love the tabs under your banner, great idea, especially like the Bucket List!

  10. Oh, I keep seeing people who have finished their pinwheel blocks. I REALLY want to make one of these! I think I have to wait on it though. Although, I may have my quilting bee do it for me this summer! Fun!!

I can't wait to see it finished!
