Half Square Triangles

These pinwheels are making me do things I normally would not do

like take the time to draw lines down 118 squares
and put 236 pins in these squares
then remove these same pins after sewing.

Thank goodness for chain piecing!

I had a ball cutting all these half square triangles....not.

Here are all 236 of them.  I really wanted to press, trim and square them up.

However, my husband and 24 are calling me!

Have an amazing day!!!!

  1. They look great! I know what you mean about the tediousness of HSTs, that quilt I'm working on has 168 quarter square triangles. No fun, but so worth it in the end.

  2. All I am going to say is that I still have 312 Thangle HST to peel, press, and square!!!! LOL!! Do you want to come visit when you are done with yours?

    Blessings,

  3. I LOVE HSTs, although you do have a stack of them to make. I think I like them because they always end up perfect little squares. That last photo really shows off your color combo.
