Sew & Tell Friday #24

Happy Good Friday to everyone!
This week we've been in Montana for spring break, but are flying home today.
I played hooky from skiing occasionally and found time to make a quick baby blanket.

Last week, my Peace quilt almost blew into the pool.  This time the wind almost blew the baby quilt off the ski chair over the deck.

My supplies were limited.  I did have some Red, White and Bold charm squares and white solid fabric.  I made eight disappearing nine-patch blocks and made two rows of three blocks with one row of two blocks in the middle.  I just realized my picture is taken sideways ;-)

Again, I used the Leader and Enders method while piecing this quilt and sewed together these smaller blocks.  I'm trying to decide whether to cut them as binding strips or to add them as an outer border.  I'm also not sure if this quilt will go to Project Linus or to a friend who is expecting a baby boy.  It just depends on whether I will have time to make another baby quilt before the stork arrives ;-)

I will be spending the day traveling, but plan to check out the other Sew and Tell Friday projects over the weekend.  I continue to be amazed by the creativity on display!

Have an amazing weekend!!!  Happy Easter!
