Friday Finish: Layover Quilt

My Layover quilt is back from the quilter, bound and ready for gifting!

As I mentioned in this post, the quilt design is based on a window in an airport lounge.

I made this version with all Carolyn Friedlander fabrics and measures 56" x 84".

This is one of three quilts that Frank quilted for me before Thanksgiving.  I am so appreciative that he fit me in his crazy busy schedule.

Pattern is being tested and will be available soon.
I can't wait to share other quilts made with this pattern!

Linking up with Crazy Mom Quilts!  Hope you have a fabulous weekend!

  3. It's really pretty, René! And so interesting to know what inspired it. Hope you have a good place to display this quilt. Or maybe some lucky recipient will find it under the tree? Enjoy this holiday season!

  5. When we chose our house in Greece, it was for the gorgeous views and the huge basement that I would use as my sewing studio. Intermittently leaking pipes and plumbers who would leave to get their tools and never return helped me decide that my embroidery quilting and expensive machines would be safer in the house. When three large houses were built in front of us, we lost the view. I did not this house much after the first six months and mourned for our second choice for the next three years.find out more
