I don't know about you, but I have a hard time coming up with blog post titles.
Wednesdays (Wonderful Wednesday) and Fridays (Sew and Tell) are taken care of. That only leaves me three days a week, since I don't post on weekends, to come up with clever titles, but I still struggle.
So it figures that today when I don't need a cute title, I came up with Little Pink Houses!
This week was spent working on a little of this and a little of that. My Friday finishes are blocks for
V's Call for Help Basics Home Gather.
Little Pink House #1
Little Pink House #2
Little Pink House #3
While sewing, I kept singing John Cougar John Cougar Mellancamp John Mellancamp's little Pink Houses for you and me. What a blast from the past!!!
I hope to put all five of these house blocks in the mail to Victoria this weekend.
Would you like to make some? Victoria is collecting house blocks through April.
Be sure to visit all the Sew and Tell Friday participants to see their accomplishments this week.
Have an amazing weekend!
Ha ha ha - I still call him John Cougar, as well! We're showing our age, my dear!
ReplyDeleteLove all of your houses! The fabrics are fantastic!
ReplyDeleteThanks Rene', I live in his home state and now I have the guitar solo from that song stuck in my head! Noooooooooooooooooooooooo
ReplyDeleteYour house blocks are awfully sweet, colorful and cheeful! Just what Indiana needs more of in the way of weather!
LOL Have a great weekend!
Hey Rene', Luv John Cougar Mellencamp and your little pink houses! Well done! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteLove the PINK HOUSES! they will add some lovely color! thanks Rene'! Yes, I too now have that song in my head...... little pink houses for you and me!
ReplyDeleteand yes, We've been dumped upon once again.... we actually have a SNOW DAY, While actually having Snow! unlike a week or so ago, they closed school a day ahead of a anticipated snow storm which then totally missed NYC... we probably have 14" already...eeek!
I remember that song! (and I remember him as John Cougar)!
ReplyDeleteCute houses!
I love coming up with names for posts and quilts. I, in fact, secretly envy the guy whose job it is to name the paint colors for paint companies!!!! Love those blocks, love that your block has become musical. Quilts often end up with song titles at my house!!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great song to have stuck in my head on a busy Friday, I will have a smile all day, and it's your fault!!!
Blessings,
KT

ReplyDeleteLove your houses! I am a JCM fan too... My name is Diane and my BFF in school was Jan and seems like every time we walked into a room someone would start up with 'little ditty bout...' you get the picture.
ReplyDelete(seriously need spell check :)
very cute. the houses and the would-be title. I'm with you on hating to come up with titles. I'm just not that creative with words, so I just try to be as cheesy as possible instead. Hubby says I have cheesy down pretty well :)
ReplyDeleteHa, I remember when his name was John Cougar. And now that song is in my head too!
ReplyDeleteI really like house blocks and yours are super cute.
Your houses are cute!

ReplyDeleteCute little houses! Someday I want to make a quilt with house blocks ...soon!
ReplyDeleteI like these houses. If you ever get to go to Nantucket they actually have a pink cottage or two. Bright pink like your second house! There is a bunch of little historical houses that are all painted in bright paints. (Maybe it was Martha's Vineyard.)Your houses make me think of them. It was so much fun to walk down those streets.
ReplyDeleteWhat great houses! And what a fun use of fabric!
ReplyDeleteVery cute houses.
