Popping in to quickly post a quilt top I just finished. Other than the four large squares, these are all scraps from my son's graduation quilt. I just love these fabrics so much and don't want to move on to another project.
Four Square quilt top measures 48" square |
The design idea came from the bathroom tile in our hotel in New York. Those center and cornerstone blocks have squares that finish at only 1". I'd like to do another quilt with those little 16 patch blocks. Who knows....I have enough Carolyn Friedlander scraps...I may just do that!
Linking up with Crazy Mom Quilts. Have a wonderful weekend.
Thanks for stopping by,
This is a beautiful quilt, I love the different sized squares.

ReplyDeleteYou've picked the perfect quilts for theses fabrics! Very inspiring :-) I can see why you don't want to move on. It's hard when you love the last project so much.
ReplyDeleteThe variety in the square size is a great feature! And the colours are lovely too!
ReplyDeleteLove it, so fun.

Another very good looking top! You're such a fast quilter.
ReplyDeleteLove how you played with scale. And inspiration is everywhere, even under our feet! :D
ReplyDeleteLook at you! This is terrific. I love that idea that you didn't want to leave the fabrics behind that you had grown to love--I have some baskets in my sewing room filled with those, yet you were able to make another quilt! Great inspiration--fabulous quilt!
