I made a little mini quilt and I didn't see any pigs flying! That's a good sign, right? Last week I spent some time with my sewing machine and the world didn't stop ;-)

AAQI's Quilt a Month Club motivates me to make at least one little quilt a month.....although I'd like to be more productive than that.
Most of the quilting was done by machine, but I hand stitched the words Live Laugh and Love with hand-dyed perle cotton.
I did FMQing in a loopy pattern similar to the backing fabric.

Love your little quilt, Rene'! Lovely! I have been thinking of you. I told my hubby how much you liked the books Game of Thrones, and he has read them all. We started renting the videos of Season 1 of the show (I think it's HBO). Have you seen the shows? They are quite good. I haven't read the books but am enjoying the shows. Lloyd says they are not as in depth as the books, but they are staying close to the book.
ReplyDeleteWonderful little quilt! I love the colors and especially the quilting. Aren't minis so satisfying to make, especially when you're short on sewing time?! It's been weeks since I've had time to sew anything, so I love to see what you're making.
