Sew & Tell Friday #42

My sew and tell projects have been lame lately.  Continuing in that tradition, I present to you my Ugly Fabric Challenge project.

Yesterday I showed the Ugly Fabric Challenge projects made by other guild members.  Here is mine.    This fall quilt top was inspired by P.S. I Quilt's Autumn Shoofly quilt.  I didn't have enough strips so I changed it up some going with a different border layout.

I was hoping to have it quilted and bound by now, but of course, that is not the case.
Can you pick out the "ugly" fabric?  I'm betting you''ll guess the wrong one ;-)

Don't forget to see all the Friday projects over at Amy's.

Have an amazing weekend!!!

  9. Hmm I can't figure it out. Maybe the yellow with the squiggly lines is a bit boring, but it isn't next to all of these pretty stripes. I don't think there is an ugly one in the bunch :)

  15. I did a challenge like this once and I still have the wallhanging I made hanging up. With all those fabrics you've used together none of them stand out as 'ugly'.
