My sew and tell projects have been lame lately. Continuing in that tradition, I present to you my Ugly Fabric Challenge project.
Yesterday I showed the Ugly Fabric Challenge projects made by other guild members. Here is mine. This fall quilt top was inspired by P.S. I Quilt's Autumn Shoofly quilt. I didn't have enough strips so I changed it up some going with a different border layout.
I was hoping to have it quilted and bound by now, but of course, that is not the case.
Can you pick out the "ugly" fabric? I'm betting you''ll guess the wrong one ;-)
Don't forget to see all the Friday projects over at Amy's.
Have an amazing weekend!!!
I love the fabric that you used. The square is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI love the fabrics. It is not a ugly fabric quilt, it is a beutiful fabric quilt!
ReplyDeleteput together like this none of these looks "ugly" is it the floral looking fabric on the light background?
ReplyDeleteI like this quilt! The white really makes the other fabrics pop! and Shoo Fly is such an awesome favorite!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your weekend Rene'.
I just love this! A stripey Roman Road Shoofly quilt! Brilliant!
ReplyDeleteAll the ugly comes together to make something beautiful!
ReplyDeleteNo "ugly" in sight! This looks great.
ReplyDeleteLove it!!! I guess you shoo'd the ugly!!
ReplyDeleteHmm I can't figure it out. Maybe the yellow with the squiggly lines is a bit boring, but it isn't next to all of these pretty stripes. I don't think there is an ugly one in the bunch :)
ReplyDeleteI agree with KT! LOL!
ReplyDeleteI love the result!
uuhhhhh... I don't see an ugly one either! Maybe the third from the left on the last picture? They certainly all look nice together.
ReplyDeleteI love the pattern of the quilt top and all the fabrics are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteFun fabrics.
ReplyDeleteCan't guess 'cuz I like 'em all--always did have a soft spot for ugly. Love the result!
ReplyDeleteIs the solid fabric the ugly one?
ReplyDeleteWow I can't believe you have done 42 Sew & Tells. Those are a lot of projects. I love how this one is coming out.
I did a challenge like this once and I still have the wallhanging I made hanging up. With all those fabrics you've used together none of them stand out as 'ugly'.
