Not much sewing this week as I've been on the road.
At the quilt retreat, I worked some on my siggy blocks for round 2. Unfortunately, I was sewing on an unfamiliar machine and my 1/4 inch seam was off. I guess I'll use those blocks for another project.
I brought my fabric to Montana and quickly made the 101 blocks before we left for Glacier. I used the Robert Kaufman jelly roll I won over at Jaybird Quilts and a layer cake of Plume by Tula Pink. As with the first round, the signature was the hardest part ;-)
I put them in the mail right before the deadline. They've already been received by Julie. Yeah!
Enjoy looking at all the Sew and Tell Friday projects.
Have an amazing weekend!!!
How fun to see your name signed on all those blocks! Should make for a beautiful quilt!
ReplyDeleteIt must take a long time to make all those blocks...and then you had to do it again??ugh!
ReplyDeleteI'm interested to see what you do the the "wrong sized" ones...
Love those colors!
ReplyDeleteOh those colros are great together! I'll have to look up that fabric.

ReplyDeleteBummer about he 1/4" seam because those fabrics look great. Now the pink swirly one has caught my eye. Can't wait to get my stack of siggies!!
ReplyDeleteLove those fabrics, Rene!
ReplyDeleteI love plume too. Bummer about the seam, but now you have some great little blocks you can work with. Love the siggy swaps. I missed the the last one by a few hours!
ReplyDeleteShame about the seam allowance but I'm sure you can do something with them. Enjoy your weekend!
