Please allow me to brag like a proud mama for a moment.
This is my daughter playing Silent Night on the harp during the Band and Strings Christmas Concert. She also played Christmas Time is Here with the strings, but the harp is hard to hear over the cellos and violins, so luckily you are spared that video.
This sweet little girl also plays the flute. I restrained myself and did not post a video of Jingle Bells by the beginning band.
Please overlook the poor camera and video quality. So as not to be obtrusive nor make her nervous, these were shot from our seats in the auditorium with a little camera and iPhone.

Proud mamas are supposed to brag. That's our job. You have much to be proud of -- sweet girl you have there.
ReplyDeleteYou have reason to be proud! That was beautifully played and harp isn't exactly the easiest of instruments! Do they have strings in the school?
ReplyDeleteBrag away!! What a talented little girl.
ReplyDeleteThe harp is the one instrument I always wanted to play and never did, I played violin, viola, and piano (though none that well, and not since high school)The harp wasn't an option, but I've thought about it since so many times.
Definitely a proud mama moment! What a talented little girl!
ReplyDeleteOh my, how beautiful! SIL had a harpist play at her wedding...it's a favorite instrument of mine to listen to! She did an awesome job and I love the way she ran off the stage. That would so be me!
ReplyDeleteMama brags are allowed and you have a lot to be proud of. You are blessed! Thanks Rene' for sharing this!
Merry Christmas!
Bravo. Wonderful rendition, you are rightfully proud.
ReplyDeleteBig applause. That was beautiful and you are supposed to brag. was that her mother wohooing at the end?
ReplyDeleteThat was wonderful! Before I was a professional mooch, I was a music teacher which qualifies me to say that she has gobs of talent! Thanks for sharing:)
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed the concert, wonderful job! I too thought it was funny she ran off the stage! How does she practice the harp at home? The harp and the flute are such wonderfully soothing instruments. Good Choices!
